Every day the news gets more reprehensible. Yesterday Harry (“Valley Girl”) Reid, a formerly unknown Congressperson, again made gossipy headlines by illegally exposing the FBI file of Bush judicial nominee Judge Henry Saad.

At a press conference, otherwise known as “Democrat Shrews take to the Mic to Embarrass Themselves”, Reid stated that "Henry Saad would have been filibustered anyway...All you need to do is have a member go upstairs and look at his confidential report from the FBI, and I think we would all agree that there is a problem there…” Never mind that the innuendo dripping from Reid had all the savoir fair of a bitter teen queen gossiping out her new rival but “leaking” the contents of a highly confidential FBI file is downright illegal.

Liberals love to expound on privacy rights but then, inexplicably, go around scavenging FBI files for their bon mots like homeless people digging for day old pizza at the bottom of a dumpster. After all, who can forget Craig Livingston, under orders from the Clinton administration, clutching over 600 confidential FBI files in his chubby little, ex-bouncer paws? In comparison to this crowd Richard Nixon was a piker.

Near as I can tell Judge Saad’s worst infraction was that during this distinguished career he sat as a Board Member on the National Conference of Christians and Jews ( Judge Saad’s bio). Upon closer scrutiny, however, you find that he once taught legal ethics at Wayne State University Law School and evidence at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. (“Mercy” is a code word for religion.) He also had the audacity to win the Humanitarian Award for "Outstanding Dedication to Serving the Community with Compassion and Understanding" in 1995 and is a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church “where he has been a member of the choir for fifteen years”. No wonder liberals have to stop him from taking the bench.

Judge Saad’s good name and reputation is now as tarnished as Clarence Thomas’s when the ever classless opportunist Anita Hill- egged on by fellow Democratic Congressional perverts- showed up at Thomas’s Judiciary Committee hearings to describe a pubic hair on a Coke can. Not only have Democrats managed to turn Congress into a voyeurs paradise for sexual deviants, they have also managed to turn every presidential nomination hearing into a churlish spectacle of character assassination, innuendo, school marm lecturing and artless demagoging. I guess that’s what happens when your party’s strategy is put in the hands of a plastic surgery addicted female (Nancy Pelosi) and a chairman who simply screams like one.

This Congress’s coup d’ crass was probably when the ever dowdy Barbara Boxer called the always classy and dignified Condeleeza Rice a liar during Rice’s Senate confirmation hearings for nomination to Secretary of State. The totally clueless Boxer was at it again during the John Bolton hearings when she embarked on a multi-media smear campaign to try to prove, beyond all reasonable doubt, that the Ambassador nominee to the UN was mean. Evdently, Democrats can see their way clear to besmirch Bolton’s character, however, when Kofi Annon is shown to be both a crook and a liar, and the disgraced UN has turned out to be little more corrupt (and far less efficient) than organized crime, these impassioned wind-bags suddenly can't find their compass.

The litany of liberal outrages loom large. Last week Harry ("not again") Reid called President Bush a liar in front of a bunch of High Schoolers. Liberals routinely take their arguments to school children, that way they are sure they can win the argument. Previously, newly installed DNC Chairman Howard Dean called Republicans “evil”, “corrupt” and “brain dead”. (In the psychoanalytic community they call that “projection.” ) Then, in the “He Should Know” category, former Ku Klux Klan member Robert Byrd compared Republicans to Hitler. The worst outrage is that Congressional liberal lawbreakers such as Harry Reid will never face the criminal charges that they deserve, and that is probably the most exasperating thing of all. Wet noodle Republicans simpered on about a possible ethics hearing over the matter. I’m sure Harry Reid is quaking in his Espedrilles. Whether it comes to stealing the White House china, trashing the offices of the West Wing on their departure, or illegally alluding to unsavory contents in someone's FBI files liberals, somehow, never see jail.
